Who would have thought an ancient story in the Old Testament would hold such remarkable relevance to American religious life? The fact is that the story of God’s people in Egypt practically mirrors common issues that we face. Our challenge is to pay attention and consider what God desires for us in light of these truths. In this sermon, we will see that investing in the children is the key to evangelism and that reaching the next generation is paramount to reaching America with the Gospel. A family with children being taught God’s word is a strong family, and a church with a robust program to teach and mentor the youth is a church with a bright future.
