The land of Nod is a faraway place east of Eden. After Cain has given in to the darkness of his passions and the consequences of his wayward decisions begin to take hold, Cain seeks a place that he can go to and escape his past. He gets married, fathers a child, and even builds a city. In this sermon, we will learn what becomes of him, his descendants, and the civilization they built. In these ancient records, we learn more about ourselves than we realize. Let’s learn from their experiences and failings to avoid repeating them.
